A debugger or some other method was used to try to exit PowerLock (via ExitToShell)
The PowerLock Extension ran but PowerLock was not launched at or near startup time. You may need to Set StartUp or put an alias in your StartUp Items folder.
The Macintosh was Shut Down. Check the entry before. If it doesn't say 'Illegal Attempt' then the user selected the Shut Down button.
The 'Seconds Before Shut Down' limit specified in the Preferences dialog was reached and the Macintosh shut down.
The password was changed - if a user name is shown then the password for that user was changed.
A user's name was changed.
A user was removed from the UserList.
The Reset… button in the Preferences dialog was selected. The password will now be the default.
A special access code provided by the author of PowerLock was used to gain access.
The specified user correctly entered their name and password.

The BootBlocks modification feature was either enabled or disabled.
The Finder Rename feature was either enabled or disabled.
The Lock Volume feature was either enabled or disabled.
The Trap Illegal Quits feature was either enabled or disabled.
Enabling this option is not recommended as it reduces the effectiveness of PowerLock's security system.
Check your AddOns. Hold down the Shift key at start up to completely disable them.
The Preferences file was not found and therefore a new one was created.
PowerLock could not convert this particular Prefs resource, so it was removed and replaced with a new one containing standard defaults.
Remove the AddOn File from the folder containing PowerLock.
The Master Password, supplied as part of the PlusPack Registration, was used by your Administrator.
